What feels heavy?
What makes you feel sad when you think about it?
Ask yourself these questions.
Take a few deep breath and listen to your body —
maybe it’s telling you it’s time to release heavy emotions, negative energy, or something you’ve been carrying for far too long without even noticing.
Maybe you have noticed and you're ready to let go.
Well done. You just made the first step forward.
You should be proud of yourself 🤍
This month, I’m ready to release two things that have been staying with me for far too long…
Fear and overwhelm.
The kind that keeps you stuck.
The kind that makes you question yourself.
The kind that makes moving forward feel heavier than it should.
How?
I’m glad you asked ✨
May is all about learning how to let go of what no longer serves us — heavy emotions, negative energy, self-doubt, and the things we’ve been carrying without even realising.
Because healing starts when we create space for what matters.
What about you, what are you releasing this May?
Letting go is not just about releasing what hurts…
It’s about making space for what heals us.
Peace
Clarity
Confidence
Self-trust
Calm
When we hold on to fear, overwhelm, self-doubt, or old emotional weight, we leave little room for growth.
So ask yourself:
What outcome do I hope to achieve by letting go?
What would change if I finally released what’s been weighing me down?
1- Name what you’re holding onto - be honest with yourself even if it hurts. Powerful emotions don't need to be harder to release.
2- Accept what you cannot change - accept it gently, without resistance, don't hold onto it, just allow it to be.
3- Create a release ritual - light a candle, speak your truth and blow the candle. Or take a bath (or a shower) and let your emotion be washed away by the water. find something that feels right for you
4- Choose yourself again - Be your priority, choose to rest when you need to, choose self-care, choose love, choose you.
Truthfully:
Letting go isn't always as simple and is rarely a one-time decision.
It’s a practice, the more you do it, the easier it'll get.
Sometimes you let go 100 times before it finally feels free - and that's ok!
Keep going.
You’re still healing.
You’re still progressing.
You should be proud of yourself 💚
I came to realise how powerful this quote is.
“Healing is not always about becoming more, it’s often releasing more.”
Releasing pressure
Releasing expectations
Releasing old versions of yourself, old habits
Releasing what was never truly yours to carry.
Maybe that’s why it can feel uncomfortable…
Because we’re not building something new,
we’re uncovering what’s already there.
And by letting go those old mindsets, we’re making space to become more.
More confident
More productive
More “put together”
More ourselves.
What do you think about this quote?
You don’t need permission to change.
Not from others.
Not from your past.
Not even from the version of you that once felt comfortable.
You are allowed to outgrow what once felt right.
You are allowed to shift, evolve, and choose differently.
Even if it confuses people.
Even if it feels unfamiliar.
Even if it takes time.
Growth doesn’t always look like becoming someone new…
Sometimes it’s simply letting go of who you no longer are.
Give yourself that permission today💚
What are you ready to leave behind?
Maybe you felt a little lighter.
Maybe your mind became quieter.
Maybe you stopped forcing things that weren’t meant for you.
Chasing often comes from fear, pressure, and the need to control.
But releasing…
Releasing creates space.
Space for clarity.
Space for peace.
Space for what is truly aligned with you.
Take a moment today to reflect —
What shifted for you when you let go instead of holding on?
And what are you still trying to chase that might be asking to be released instead? 🤍
Take a moment to pause and look back at this month.
Not just at the big moments,
but the quiet progress too.
The times you chose rest instead of pressure.
The moments you spoke to yourself more kindly.
The emotions you allowed yourself to feel instead of suppressing them.
The things you slowly started letting go of.
Progress isn’t always loud or visible.
Sometimes it looks like:
🌿 setting boundaries
🌿 feeling a little lighter
🌿 reacting differently
🌿 choosing yourself more often
🌿 getting through difficult days with softness instead of criticism
So how do you feel about the progress you’ve made this month?
No matter how small it may seem, be proud of yourself.
Healing takes time.
Growth takes patience.
And you are still moving forward 🤍
Before June arrives, take a moment to check in with yourself.
Not with pressure.
Not with judgement.
Just honesty.
How ready do you feel for growth?
Growth doesn’t always mean becoming someone completely different.
Sometimes growth looks like:
⛅ letting go of old patterns
⛅ choosing yourself more often
⛅ creating healthier habits
⛅ resting without guilt
⛅ speaking to yourself with more kindness
⛅ allowing yourself to move forward
And the truth is—you don’t have to feel 10/10 ready to begin.
Growth often starts quietly.
With one decision.
One mindset shift.
One moment where you choose not to stay stuck.
So… on a scale of 1–10, how ready do you feel for growth as June approaches? 🤍
