Hiya, I’m Mili! 🌿
I’m a Qualified Health & Wellbeing Coach, MAC, certified by Raw Horizons Academy.
Like many people, my journey into wellbeing didn’t start from a perfect place.
I have faced many of life’s struggles, including mental health challenges, stress and anxiety, depression, addiction, harsh inner criticism, grief, to name a few.
When I realised I needed support — I asked for help, and it's the best decisions I ever made.
I learned tools that helped me understand myself, regulate my emotions and rebuild my life in a healthier way.
Over the past eight years of focusing on my wellbeing, I've developed qualities that now guide my life and my work:
- resilience
- self-confidence
- self-compassion
- inner strength
- patience
- wisdom
These experiences are what led me to create Rise Above.
My intention is simple:
to support people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to help themselves.
So many people have been asking me recently:
What’s Rise Above?
What does it mean?
What do you do exactly?
So today I thought I’d answer.
It all started in November last year,
I lost someone who was very dear to me and it made me rethink my whole life.
Was I where I was supposed to be?
No, was the short answer.
I was proud of who I had become over the last 5 years and when I came back to the UK, finding a job was somehow difficult for me even if I’m bilingual and came back with a degree.
These questions came up a lot ...
Am I where I am supposed to be?
Am I happy?
What do I really want?
I had to help myself before the grief tore me apart.
I consulted my counsellor, who is an absolute jewel, and she helped me get back on track.
I understood that the person I was before was no longer the person I needed for my future.
I had to reinvent who I wanted to be.
What I craved more than anything was a career, but not just any and not something only for myself.
I want to help people as much as my counsellor helped me find my own way.
After doing some research, I realised that there was more than one way to do this.
To me, what made the most sense at that moment was to become a Health & Wellbeing Coach.
So I started studying hard, and found a school where I obtained not one, but Three certifications.
After I got my qualifications, a whole new world opened to me.
Every idea I have, I can make it happen, and I love that so much.
I first created Rise Above because of the meaning of these words:
“On Top of the clouds the sky is blue and the sun always shines, so remember to rise above.”
I want to create a Sanctum of Solace.
Where we can gently grow and shift our mindsets,
Where resilience, hope and growth are our mantra.
Where safe space, healing and warmth are the essence of everything we do.
I want Rise Above to stand for :
Gentle growth
Mindset shifts
Emotional safety
Mental health awareness
Self-compassion
Slow, sustainable changes
Real, Honest, Human.
So if you’re still wondering what Rise Above is…
It’s a wellbeing focused space where we share reflections, we shift our old mindsets and habits,
we validate our emotions, we share personal insights, growth stories and practical tools.
Most of all, it’s a place where we find our voice.
I’m Mili, Health and Wellbeing Coach and I’m proud and excited about helping you find your calling.
“Attending the sessions has given me my confidence back.”
I first came to Rise Above because I saw it advertised and felt I needed to do something for myself.
I didn't really know what to expect, but I wanted to meet like-minded people.
What I valued most was sharing experiences, being able to be myself and talking to others.
Through the exercises, questions have been answered even though I didn't know what answers I was looking for. Afterwards, I felt more like my old self.
Attending the sessions has given me my confidence back.

“I felt much more positive and energised.”
I originally came to a Rise Above workshop out of curiosity, to find out what it was about.
I was hoping for some time to sit and explore my feelings and reactions.
What I valued most was the peace and quiet. By the end of the session, I felt much more positive and energised.
I would attend another Rise Above workshop and would recommend it to another woman.

“It freed me from the pressure of having to do things.”
I came to a Rise Above workshop through word of mouth and as an opportunity to spend some time with my mother.
What I valued most was being able to let go of the pressure of having to do things and simply get on with my writing.
After the session, I found that I was able to write more and examine some of my fears.
I would attend another Rise Above workshop and would recommend it to another woman.
